Statement on the Departures of FMCSA Administrator Hutcheson & NHTSA Administrator Carlson

Washington D.C. - The Autonomous Vehicle Industry Association issued the following statement from chief executive officer Jeff Farrah as FMCSA Administrator Robin Hutcheson and NHTSA Administrator Ann Carlson depart the U.S. Department of Transportation:

“The Autonomous Vehicle Industry Association thanks FMCSA Administrator Robin Hutcheson and NHTSA Administrator Ann Carlson for their leadership and efforts to pave the way forward for the safety, equity, and economic benefits of autonomous vehicles. We appreciate their commitment to safety, and we look forward to continued collaboration with FMCSA, NHTSA, and the other operating administrations at USDOT to make the future of transportation safer, more productive and accessible to everyone.”
